Paula Duffy, Chiropractic Assistant

I was born and raised in Iowa and moved to the Altoona area in 2005. I have previously held roles in customer service and office management. I’m SO excited and thankful to be working with Dr. Melanie and Ashley. I love to meet new people in the community and am looking forward to completing the chiropractic assistant certification course.

I have been married to my husband, Terry, for 13 years. Together we have 3 wonderful children Laken, Jesse and Trinity. We enjoy eating out, going to movies, taking long walks, shopping and just spending time together at home. We also adore our 1 year old tea-cup Chihuahua, Hannah.

I, like so many new and existing patients, am learning the benefits of chiropractic care and how it can make a difference in my overall health. I’m looking forward to reaching the maximum health benefits through regular chiropractic care. We lead a very active lifestyle and are always on the go. I have struggled in the past with lower back pain and have found so much relief with regular chiropractic appointments as well as massage therapy. I’m looking forward to assisting Dr. Melanie for many years to come.

Tawnia Leslie, Massage Therapist

I was born and raised in Iowa.  I  grew up in the small town of Cambridge. I now live on an acreage outside of Maxwell, Iowa.   I was a Pharmacy Technician for about six years and decided to go back to school as a Massage Therapist and graduated from Body Wisdom Massage School in Urbandale, Iowa in 2009. I’m specialized in Sports Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Hydrotherapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Pre-Natal Massage, Rebalancing and Pulsing, and Hot Stone Massage.  I also teach Infant and Toddler Massage Classes.  I love to work with people and help them feel better.

I married my husband Mike in October 2004. Together we have 3 wonderful children, Clayton, Gracie, Ashlyn and we have one on the way. We enjoy going hunting, fishing, riding our four wheelers, going for hikes in the timber and just being together as a family.

I opened up my own business, Revitalizing Massage Therapy, in November 2009 in Cambridge.  I have now been offered a great new opportunity to work with Dr. Melanie at Godfrey Family Chiropractic. I’m so excited about this opportunity because massage and chiropractic services go hand and hand together.  I suffered neck and back pain for a long time and have been getting regular adjustments.  It has really made a difference and has impacted my life.  I’m looking forward to working with such a great team at Godfrey Family Chiropractic for many years to come!  Together, we can help make a difference in people’s lives!
